I leaned away from tradition a bit on this one and added a stainless steel tone ring—makes for a loud, lively banjo with plenty of presence. The neck is Sapele, paired with a walnut fingerboard. The peghead veneer and heel cap are cut from a beautiful piece of olive wood burl that adds a touch of warmth and detail.
