This little A scale makes me feel pretty proud. I saw the padauk that lives in the fretboard and peghead and couldn’t resist going back to it as a favorite type of wood. Moving forward, I vow to produce a lot less bright orange saw dust.

Here’s the newer iteration of the last gourd banjo. I rebuilt the pot and put a more appropriate head on it this time.

1. Look at this kooky piece of ziricote! It immediately made me think of @blacksheepbanjos when I saw it. 2. Gus approves.

Here’s the latest gourd. It’s pretty loud, if you’re into that kinda stuff. Also, I think I’m a pretty big fan of fretless richlite.

The newest gourd banjo is done. I kinda messed around with tradition a little and put a stainless steel tone ring in this one.

Sent the dowel through today. Waiting for a fingerboard that’s somewhere out in a blizzard. All is well here. How’s everyone doing? Staying warm?
